Backpacks for Kids

Food for the Weekend …….​For the past 3 years, Kiwanis of Topsail Island Area has supported “BackPack Food Programs” for Pender and Onslow County Children. These programs provides food to children over the weekend and during school breaks when they do not have access to school food programs. Kiwanis has purchased backpacks and provided financial support to help feed the children. In Pender County, we work with Share the Table and in Onslow County, we work with Mama J’s Helping Hand.

Within Pender County, Share the Table is currently serving all three Topsail elementary schools and Topsail Middle School with backpacks.
