Kiwanis School Grants

Coastal Elementary School

Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island Area presented over $8,000 dollars in grants to four teachers at Coastal Elementary for their projects that had not been funded by the JOEMC Bright Ideas grant program.

Presenting and receiving the individual teacher grant checks were left to right, Nicki Swafford, Kiwanis, President-Designate (on behalf of Carrie Hewitt, Pres.) Shelly Kleist, Meredith Nickens, Kelly Crenshaw (teachers) Principal Tim Joines (cntr), Constance Batts (teacher), Cathi Litcher, Kiwanis Secretary, and Kimberly Patrizi, Kiwanis Treasurer.

Dixon Elementary School

Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island Area presented over $1,700 dollars in grants to two teachers at Dixon Elementary for their projects that had not been funded by the JOEMC Bright Ideas grant program.

Dixon Middle School

Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island Area presented over $3,500 dollars in grants to two teachers at Dixon Middle School for their projects that had not been funded by the JOEMC Bright Ideas grant program.

Surf City Elementary School

Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island Area presented over $2,000 dollars in grants to two teachers at Surf City Elementary School for their projects that had not been funded by the Pender Education Partnership (PEP) grant program.

Teachers receiving checks from Carrie Hewitt, Club President and Cathi Litcher, Secretary were Elaine Goodwin, and Leah Smith.

Surf City Middle School

Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island Area presented over $2,600 dollars in grants to three teachers at Surf City Middle School for their projects that had not been funded by the Pender Education Partnership (PEP) grant program.
